OUR CUSTOMERS
We love our customers and they've all become friends of ours. Here's what they say:
"What keeps us coming back to Kilblaan Farm? In a nutshell, we know that we can rely on Liz and John to be not only forthright about their animals, but also honest and fair in their business arrangements. There is no other farm in which we would place more trust." Pam and Mark Welty, Silver Oak Farm, Ashby, MA.
"The first alpaca Bonnie and I bought from Liz and John was a champion herdsire, and it basically put our farm on the map as serious breeders. As a leader in the New England alpaca industry, Kilblaan Farm has so much to offer. So when I say we have gone back each year for more (as buyers)...we literally have bought more alpacas each and every year... to where our confidence in their breeding program had us selecting five outstanding females last year to add to our herd." Terry and Bonnie Callery, Village Farm Alpacas, Waldoboro, ME.
"John and Liz MacEachran are experienced and reliable breeders. Even though we live some distance from them, they always have been available to answer any questions we had about the animals we purchased from them. They have given us advice on herd health, breeding and birthing, even some suggestions on how to market the fleece. Early on, we had a female with a difficult birth and the vet was delayed. I called John and he calmed me down and talked me through what to do until the vet arrived. The cria and dam were fine. John and Liz are not only good people to do business with, but will also be lifelong friends." Janice and Dar Spalty, New Millenium Alpacas, Lancaster, NH
Our customer's have done pretty well in the show ring too! Evangeline was one of the first alpacas we ever showed. We sold her the day before the show, and she went on to win her juvenile class and then become the Grey Color Champion at MaPaca.
We sold Nevada to Dar Spalty. She went to her first show at just 6 months, won her black juvenile class and went on to become Black Color Champion. When she was grown, Dar and Janice bred her to Jedi Knight, whose dam also came from our farm, and produced Beethoven who has won over a dozen championship banners, and then Laila, who has won numerous banners in 2008 as well. We are so proud of all their success.
Here's Angus who just can't take a bad photo. He won brown juvenile male at the Big E and Patricio and Veronica Mujica bought him on the spot. Then he went back into the ring and took the Color Championship, followed by Best Bred and Owned and Get of Sire (well his daddy did, but he was in the entry). He went on to take banners at 4 more shows that year .
This is Smoke. We sold her to Deb and Ray Cilley about 30 minutes after she took this banner. After that, she went on to take firsts at MaPaca, AOBA, and Empire where she also was reserve champion. We liked the looks of her first cria, Brigadier, so much that we bought half of him, and we're eagerly awaiting his first crias in 2009. |
